Description

Handmade using copper foil and lead solder secured in a lead frame for added strength. 32 individually cut stained glass pieces with hand-painted detail fired in a glass kiln.

The piece comes with a delicate chain so it can be hung securely.

Size: 18.5cm (width) x 27.50cm (height) / 7.3 inches x 10.8 inches.

All purchases from Scarab Stained Glass come lovingly wrapped in recycled eco bubble wrap, nestled in hamper straw inside a sturdy box.

Product Care and information

All of my items are cut, painted, copper foiled and soldered by hand, by myself, to my own designs. As each is individually made, no two will be identical.

I use the copper foil stained glass technique, which allows more flexibility to make 3D shapes and more intricate shapes and corners. I also paint the glass using lead paint, which is then fired in a kiln over the course of a few layers to build up shading and texture.
They are for decorative use only, and are not toys, or intended for children to play with.

Costs for postage and packing per item is as follows:

  • UK – £3.95   Royal Mail Tracked 48 postage (2 – 3 working days)
  • EU – £12   Royal Mail International Tracked service (3 – 7 business days)

Due to circumstances beyond my control, I am no longer able to post items to countries outside of Europe.
